Collection and processing of personal data

Personal data is information that concerns the personal or objective circumstances of a specific or identifiable individual. This includes all information that can be used to determine your identity, e.g. your name, address, postal address and telephone number. Information that cannot be linked to your identity (such as statistical data concerning the use of websites) is not considered personal data. In general, you can use the website of Swedish Agro Machinery without disclosing your identity.

If you request information from Swedish Agro Machinery, you will be asked for your name and other personal details. Entering this data is entirely voluntary. For certain actions, such as requesting information brochures, some details are mandatory. "Mandatory fields" are indicated by an asterisk. Where additional details are requested in fields that are not identified as mandatory fields, submission of this information is voluntary.

Storage of your personal data

Your information is stored by CLAAS KGaA Germany on specially protected servers. Through appropriate technical and organisational means, data on these servers is protected against loss, destruction, access, modification or sharing by unauthorised persons. Access to your data is restricted to a small number of authorised persons only. Such persons are responsible for the technical, business or editorial support of servers. Despite regular checks, however, it is not possible to guarantee complete protection against all possible risks.

The transfer online of website data and of your details on the web page of Swedish Agro Machinery is generally not encrypted. It may therefore be possible for third parties to view and/or access transferred data. Swedish Agro Machinery recommends that you bear this in mind when deciding whether and what data to transmit online.

Where you have given Swedish Agro Machinery your express consent for marketing activities, Swedish Agro Machinery will also use your data for marketing purposes as indicated. Swedish Agro Machinery will not pass on your data to third parties for any other purpose, in particular advertising, without your express consent. Where Swedish Agro Machinery is bound by law or judicial degree, it may pass on your data to the relevant requesting departments or organisations.
